Guidance for Measurement Provider Onboarding

This guidance addresses an important question for OM SDK integration partners after they have certified with IAB Tech Lab. Integration partners can take the following steps to ensure that the OM SDK integration works for their customers.

Awareness

The immediate next step is to ensure that measurement providers are aware of your certification and production roll out date. THere are multiple ways to do that:

• IAB Tech Lab listing: https://iabtechlab.com/compliance-programs/compliant-companies/
• IAB Tech Lab API (URL TBD) that lists each integration partner and their certified capabilities
• Contact measurement providers

Test

It’s a good practice to run a pilot test with each measurement provider that ensures verification scripts provided by measurement partners run as expected.

Measurement Provider Domain names

Measurement provider scripts send the OM SDK measurement signals to their servers. Some app configurations exercise control over the domains to which connections are permitted. To ensure measurement providers can effectively collect the OM SDK signals for verification purpose, the apps must allow the verification scripts to send data to their respective domains.

Measurement Provider Onboarding

The last step is to ensure that your data is onboarded in measurement provider systems. Each measurement provider has unique systems and processes so their onboarding processes differ.
